My last day at work - very reluctant to leave! But until the kids are older this is the best option.

Pyrenean valerian at the farm - there is masses of it there. My very useful wild-flower book* has this to say about it: "An introduction from the Pyrenees around the 17th century, this handsome alien was planted widely in the policy woods of C and E Scotland".

We took the kids to the local country park and I took photos of the flowers. I love this one - the rain makes it so lush.

I went on an epic trip to the Uttermost Ends of the Earth (i.e. down to southern England) to my cousin's wedding - here she is with her new husband and a VW van :-).
